Electric Ghost

8 years. 25+ employees. 1 successful exit. From a ground-up startup to a community staple, I co-founded and scaled Electric Ghost into a premier brand agency and commercial screen printing shop before its acquisition in 2021.

The Foundations of a Maker

Full-Cycle Production & Design.

In the early years, Electric Ghost was a two-person operation. I handled every touchpoint of the customer journey, spanning from initial brainstorming and goal-setting to burning screens and picking ink colors. I worked on an individual basis with thousands of clients to define their needs, whether they were businesses requiring a professional visual identity or individuals with a vision for a specific event. This "boots on the ground" experience gave me an unparalleled understanding of how a design moves from a conceptual idea to a physical, high-quality finished product.

The Retail Laboratory

Direct-to-Consumer Strategy.

The retail storefront and website served as my personal design laboratory. Here, I acted as both the client and the creator, designing original apparel and merchandise specifically for our walk-in customers and online audience. Managing a retail brand required me to anticipate market trends, maintain a consistent brand voice across diverse products, and oversee the e-commerce infrastructure that powered our growth. It was where my personal design aesthetic met real-world commercial success.

Scaling & Leadership

From Solo Artist to Creative Director

As the business grew, my role transitioned from execution to leadership. I built and managed a cross-functional staff of 10+, overseeing daily shop operations and training a creative team to maintain our high standards of quality. While I stepped back from the printing press, I remained the lead strategist for our most complex client accounts and technical print jobs. This transition allowed me to focus on the high-level business strategy and mentorship that eventually led to a successful acquisition and a brand that remains a staple in the community today.
